MEET KIRSTEN
social media consultant, strategist, producer.
Hi, I’m Kirsten Nicolaisen, a New York City-based social media strategist and content producer with 10+ years of experience.
I’ve worked in nearly every kind of media environment: local newsrooms, startups, legacy brands, agencies, radio stations and more.
Before launching my consulting & production business, I was Head of Social at State Affairs, a political news startup, and Senior Social Manager at CNET, where I led a creative team and contributed to award-winning social video content. I’ve also shaped social strategy for the New York Post, and local ABC affiliates in Washington, DC and Portland, OR.
I now bring my expertise to a variety of clients: agencies, restaurant groups, and individual creators — with my work spanning strategy, content production, campaign management, influencer marketing, writing and photography.
